posting is cut short to first letter

Please see screenshot
when i post some text, it shows only the first letter of the text. I have searched code...cant figure it out. I would appreciate your help

    is it that the download link(on openmicroblogger.com) for alternate is NOT up to date?
    I downloaded the files on August 4th 2009
    I would try the other download link

    to "fix" your OMB installation, you will need to DROP the "posts" table from your database.

    after that, when you point your web browser at your OMB install, the posts table will be automatically re-created with the new 140 field length

    this 140 can be changed in config.php or config/config.php - the setting is called TWEET_SIZE

    I dont know why but just dropping the table recreated the posts table with same issue. So I went ahead and increase the field length for title to 140
