Reported by Scot | May 11th, 2009 @ 12:31 PM | in 0.6
Could not add Twitter settings:
The input form eTag did not match a record_id in entries.
Fatal error in line 333 of file /home/sportstw/public_html/db/library/dbscript/model.php
Also, input form 'drops' to the bottom of the page below the visible content in the sidebar.

But on a fresh install with a fresh generated database it works.
Is there a possibility to keep the existing posts and user-profiles?

are you guys still having this problem?
this usually occurs when you leave omb and come back after a few hours, you are "partially" logged in but when you try to change a setting on your profile it make you log in again
high priority

Well I'm not sure how the Twitter settings are working, since I can't find my menu items after the latest upgrade. WTF?
-
Scot May 22nd, 2009 @ 06:13 AM
OK, so clean install, and new user's Twitter settings work fine. The settings 'box' still falls below the sidebar height when entering the fields, however, which appears to be a simple css issue.

Maybe this is fixed through my sidebar fix because this changes the twitter css-style, too.

I have lost my menu links again which also means I can't log out after logging in. Hmmm...I've only made minor changes to style.css and header (added logo) and this has now happened twice.

I think I have an idea what this problem is, Johannes this could be related to the front-page double-icon problem when using a custom theme
the is_microblog_theme() function is probably not working, i'll check it out

Brian, do you reference to the 'fatal error'-problem?
The settings 'box' still falls below the sidebar height when entering the fields, however, which appears to be a simple css issue.
I tried this in IE, FireFox, Opera. With my latest changes the settings-box is beside the sidebar and all fields are accessable.
I have lost my menu links again which also means I can't log out after logging in. Hmmm...I've only made minor changes to style.css and header (added logo) and this has now happened twice.
I can't reproduce this :/

Scot you can follow development/changes in individual files like:

index.php

Scot, I copied your style.css but there is not the problem.
You can upload your header.php and I will have a look. -
Brian Jesse Hendrickson May 22nd, 2009 @ 11:05 AM
scot you can attach your header.php to this issue in lighthouse, we would love to help you fix it thanks
-
Scot May 22nd, 2009 @ 12:04 PM
I can't imagine it's a header issue as I've simply commented out the WP bloginfo references in favour of a logo reference but I've attached it for a look.

You seem to have a very different (old?) version.
When did you updated your copy of omb last time?
Try the attached one.

Scot you are asking about the Wordpress-style menu with Public/Profile/Upload etc, and i'm trying to replace that one (in p2 only) with a more twitter-like navigation system. sorry for the confusion, you can turn it back on by enabling Tags in the Admin menu. let me know if you want to enable the old menu in P2 with tags off and I will explain. thanks -brian

Hey Brian,
I didn't use tags "on" up to now. But it's a great feature.
The actual P2 sidebar is not working correctly if tags "on".Where are the sidebar files located which are loaded if tags "on"?
It should be possible to use the tags "off" navigation (twitter like) while using tags.

Thank you Brian, works great!
I integrated "Categories" in new sidebar css style.
Is it possible to hide the following items?
"Settings"/"Pages" from Profile
"Pages" from Settings
"Categories" if logged out
