P2 Theme: sidebar and content different bg-color

Hey,
on frontpage of P2 Theme sidebar and P2-Theme do have different
colors.
But on settings and subscription/subscribers site it is only the color of the sidebar. But I don't know how to change that.
Is it possible to add two colors there, too?

No, seems to be java-script and I don't have any idea how to cut the sidebar-bg from the loading content.

Are we keeping up to date on the latest iterations of the P2 theme? I know they have 1.04 available for download with a number of fixes made from the original, but they're also very close to releasing 1.05. See: http://svn.automattic.com/wpcom-themes/p2/

No, actually there is the first P2-Theme-release included with with some modifications by brian and myself.
I think it would be hard work to upgrade to the latest P2-Theme-release because of the modifications. Are there features/viewable changes you miss in the theme which is actually included?

I'm not sure about changes, but I know there are a number of bug fixes. One thing I was looking forward to in the new release is they are adding the post-form to the author's page, which would essentially work much like Twitter used to where you post on your own page and go to 'Home' to see all posts. If I'm not mistaken Twitter has removed the 'Everyone' feature.
