P2 Theme - Fileupload
Reported by Johannes Schirge | May 17th, 2009 @ 12:43 AM | in 0.6
In the other theme there is a file-upload available. This nice feature should be added to P2 Theme, too. :)

I am able to upload every kind of file but every file is processed as a photo. I think file-endings should be limited to jpg, jpeg, gif, png.

Hey Brian, tried fileupload.
- If you upload for example a mp3-file on frontpage it is still handled as a picture. On single-post view it works (media-player is a cool feature :D)
Other things came to my mind:
-
show max-filesize, so that users know max. filesize
-
show allowed file-endings on upload-page, so users are able to see what kind of files they are able to upload
-
check file-size before upload starts
-
check if file-upload was successful
-
showing a progress bar while uploading files
-
