  Johannes, could you try a quick test for me?

  step 1:
  Set up your duplicate theme so that the avatar is displaying twice.

  step 2:
  Paste this code in db/boot.php at line 566

  if (is_file(theme_path()."post-form.php")) {echo 'OK';} else {echo 'error, file does not exist: '.theme_path()."post-form.php";}exit;

  Now browse to the site, you will see "OK" or "error..."
